Framing Hanley set to take stage at Juanita’s

Coming straight out of the blossoming Nashville, Tennessee, rock scene of the mid-2000s, Framing Hanley is an alt-rock outfit with a lot of heart.

The band first formed under the name Embers Fade in 2005. After posting their demos to Myspace, they attracted the attention of former Creed bassist Brett Hestla in 2006, who agreed to help them record a two-song demo at his recording studio in Florida.

After making their rounds in Nashville and growing a significant fan base, the group released their first album, The Moment, in 2007.

The album reached a peak U.S. Billboard chart position of 169, and Framing Hanley’s single “Lollipop” reached a peak position of 82 on the U.S. charts. “Lollipop,” a cover of the Lil Wayne song of the same name, also went on to be certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The band’s sophomore album, A Promise To Burn, received critical acclaim, as well, and in 2009, Framing Hanley won “Best Modern Rock Band” at the Top In Rock Awards.
