Royal Bangs.
Giving you the music a day early:
Knoxville, Tenn., indie rock band Royal Bangs have a new album out, Let It Beep, and the band is busy touring to promote it, including a scheduled late-November/early-December trip to Europe. But before jumping across the pond, the five-man band bring their mixture of electrified guitar, bass and piano, and drums paired with drum machines, samples and computer beeps and blips to Sticky Fingerz. Flash Larue is the opening act, and the music cranks up at 8 p.m. with a $7 cover for the 21-and-up show.
Trevor Hall — influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and Ben Harper — returns to Juanita’s to deliver more of his acoustic rock. It’s a free, 18-and-up show with the music starting at 7 p.m. with the opening act Romeo Spike, a four-piece Georgia band that melds classic rock with futuristic electronica rock to create an ever-changing musical landscape.
